Maintenance Machinist

Are you a shade tree mechanic? Maintenance Machinist / Tool & Die Maker-Rebuild, Repair, or Overhaul of all types of end manufacturing and other equipment.
Making or repairing parts as necessary.
Building and repairing tooling.
Understanding and interpreting dimensional requirements for tooling.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders.
Set up and operation of all types of basic and specialized machine tools.
Determine specifications for inspection of work and using full range of precision measuring and gaging tools.
Inspection of work before, during, and after machining.
Understand processes in the plant in order to be able to determine types of material, tolerances to be held, and tools needed to repair or fabricate machine parts and repair and rebuild tooling.
Use all machinist hand tools, maintain inventory of necessary tooling parts, manufacture and maintenance of jigs, fixtures, etc.
, necessary for the repair and rebuilding of tooling and machine parts.
Good communication skills.
Have knowledge of mechanical principles involved in the repair and overhaul of machinery.
Safe operation of all tools and machinery.
Previous experience as a machinist.
All applicants subject to a written test and a test specifically on measurement.
Must have a GED of HS diploma.
